The Great Lord ShivaThe Great Lord Shiva came upon me as I sought him, though I know not how well I knew it. Dwelling within the soft trance of the inner and outer journey, I felt him come upon me, his strength great and his presence heavy upon me. The sensations he gave bore me down in weariness, and yet brought me up in strength, as the punishment and the pain served to but focus my being on him. Relentlessly he threw upon me, again and again, those things which I needed to know. Resolute, I bore what the Great Lord Shiva gave me.
